Carbon Monoxide Leak at id Software Prevents Employee from Pressing “Publish” on Registration Announcement Weeks Ago

A recent carbon monoxide leak at id Software turns out to be responsible for employees not announcing Quakecon registration dates.

“No one has come in or out of the building in weeks,” said Bob the overnight security guard at the Richardson office park. “People in the surrounding offices have raised concerns over employees cars taking up parking spots so we had them towed.”
